Valorant’s PS5 trophy list has recently leaked, revealing that the popular game will not have a Platinum trophy, which could potentially disappoint some players. Despite this news, Valorant is gearing up for a limited beta release on PS5 and Xbox consoles.
When Riot Games announced that Valorant would be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year, the gaming community was excited. The free-to-play shooter, which was initially released in 2020, has been a huge hit on PC. Now, a limited console beta is set to begin on June 14.
The leaked PlayStation trophy list, shared by PSN Profiles, shows a total of 16 trophies without a Platinum. This lack of a Platinum trophy may disappoint completionists who enjoy collecting them. The trophies include challenging tasks such as defusing a Spike with less than a second left and hitting 1,000 headshots, with a mix of Bronze, Silver, and Gold trophies.
It is surprising that Valorant has decided to skip a Platinum trophy, considering how important it is to many players. Other games, such as XDefiant and some Call of Duty titles, have also chosen not to include Platinums in their trophy lists.
Despite the absence of a Platinum trophy, anticipation for Valorant’s console debut remains high. The beta is scheduled to launch on June 14 at 1pm PT for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in select regions, including the US, UK, Canada, Europe, and Japan. While a global release date has not been confirmed yet, if the beta is successful, Valorant is expected to launch on consoles later this year.
