Engineers Australia, PSMEQ, and NAMPAPQ collaborate to enhance professional development

Ambassador of Australia to Qatar H E Shane Flanagan and Ambassador of Philippines to Qatar H E Lillibeth Velasco Pono have joined officials from Engineers Australia, the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers Qatar Chapter (PSMEQ), and the National Master Plumbers Association of the Philippines Qatar Chapter (NAMPAPQ) to formalize their commitment to fostering stronger collaboration and enhancing professional development within the engineering community. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by key representatives from each organization, including Presidents of Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter, NAMPAP Qatar Chapter, and PSME Qatar Chapter, as well as the PSME National President.

The signing ceremony, which took place at the Australian Embassy in Qatar, was attended by the Ambassadors of Australia and the Philippines to Qatar. The MoU aims to strengthen the professional bonds between the organizations and promote knowledge exchange, training, and development opportunities for engineers in both countries. Ambassador of Philippines congratulated Engr. Arlan Beltran and Asif Rahmany for their efforts in bringing these MoUs to fruition, expressing confidence that the agreements will play a significant role in uniting the three organizations to promote engineering and technology in the region.

Ambassador of Australia also commended the engineering bodies for their collaboration and dedication to enhancing the engineering profession through mutual support and cooperation. President of Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter, Asif Rahmany, expressed gratitude to Engr. Arlan Beltran for his persistent efforts in materializing the MoUs, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration for the engineering community in Qatar and beyond. Additionally, National President of PSME, Engr. Jeremy Agenuia, emphasized the significance of the MoU and expressed hope for a similar agreement between Engineers Australia and PSME at the national level.

This event signifies the commitment of Engineers Australia, PSME Qatar Chapter, and NAMPAP Qatar Chapter to advancing the engineering profession and supporting the growth and development of engineers in Qatar and beyond. With the formalization of this MoU, these organizations are poised to strengthen their collaboration, promote knowledge sharing, and provide valuable development opportunities for engineers in both Australia and the Philippines. This partnership marks a significant step towards fostering international collaboration and advancing the engineering profession globally.
