The Emirates Professional Golf Association (PGA) has recently announced the launch of an ambitious calendar for the 2024-25 season, managed by the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF). The aim of this calendar is to boost professional golf in the region and elevate the sport’s profile. The schedule includes various tournaments that aim to attract top talent and foster development within the UAE’s golfing community, creating opportunities for players to compete at a high level.

The new season is expected to feature a mix of local and international events, providing a platform for over 150 PGA-qualified professionals across the UAE to showcase their skills. These professionals play a key role in growing the sport, contributing their expertise to different golfing platforms and industries, thereby raising the standards of the game in the region. The calendar includes Pro-Ams and Emirates PGA Matches, with pros competing in 18-hole Individual Strokeplay events.

Kieren Pratt, the Emirates PGA representative for the EGF, expressed excitement about the planned schedule for the 2024-25 season. The successful Lincoln DG Pro-Am at Emirates Golf Club marked the beginning of the calendar, setting the tone for a series of upcoming events. The support from sponsors and participating clubs is acknowledged and valued, as the Emirates PGA explores sponsorship and participation opportunities for the season ahead. The alignment of the Emirates PGA and EGF under overarching management is highlighted as a significant step for the organizations.

The calendar for the Emirates PGA 2024-25 season includes a range of events scheduled at various prestigious golf clubs across the UAE. The season kicks off with the Lincoln Pro-Am at Yas Links, Abu Dhabi, followed by events such as the Dubai Creek Emirates PGA Pro-Am, Trump International Emirates PGA Match, and Al Dhannah Emirates PGA Match at different golfing locations in the region. These events provide a platform for professionals to showcase their skills and compete at a high level, contributing to the growth and development of golf in the UAE.

The Emirates PGA calendar is set to offer a mix of competitive opportunities for golf professionals, with Pro-Ams and Match events scheduled throughout the season. This diverse range of events aims to engage players, sponsors, and golfing enthusiasts, creating a vibrant and dynamic golfing community in the UAE. The support and participation from sponsors and clubs play a crucial role in the success of these events, as they contribute to the overall growth and development of professional golf in the region. The alignment of the Emirates PGA and EGF under centralized management signifies a strategic approach towards enhancing the sport’s presence and impact in the UAE.
