The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar recently held an introductory meeting for students who have been awarded scholarships to Qatar University and other national universities for the academic year 2024/2025. The purpose of the meeting was to provide guidance, advice, and tips to ensure students make the most of their scholarship experience. Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Affairs, Dr. Hareb Al Jabri emphasized the importance of developing both personal and academic skills during the study period, encouraging students to enjoy their academic journey. He also urged students to utilize the university library for in-depth reading in their fields of study based on his own successful academic experiences.

Furthermore, Acting Director of the Scholarships Department, Noura Al Ansari, highlighted the key role of scholarship officials in providing necessary support to students throughout their study period. She explained the students’ rights and responsibilities, addressing their inquiries while emphasizing the guidance offered by the Scholarships Department to help students maximize the opportunities available to them. Director of the Scholarship Program for Education City Universities, Aisha Al Muhannadi, discussed the procedures for activating the scholarship, including reading and signing the contract terms by the student. Additionally, she explained the academic monitoring process carried out by the department to track students’ performance and shed light on financial procedures related to internal scholarships, such as monthly stipends, allowances, and student exchange programs for the academic year 2024/2025.

It is worth mentioning that a similar meeting was held last week for Qatari students who received scholarships to Education City universities and universities in the United States and Canada for the academic year 2024/2025. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education is committed to supporting scholarship students and ensuring they have a successful academic journey. By providing guidance, advice, and tips to students, the ministry aims to help them make the most of their scholarship experience and develop both personal and academic skills during their study period. The ministry also emphasizes the importance of utilizing resources such as the university library for in-depth reading in their fields of study and encourages students to enjoy their academic journey.

The Scholarships Department plays a crucial role in providing necessary support to students throughout their study period and guiding them on their rights and responsibilities. By offering guidance, the department helps students maximize the opportunities available to them and ensures a successful scholarship experience. The scholarship officials are dedicated to assisting students and tracking their performance through the academic monitoring process, as well as managing financial procedures related to internal scholarships such as monthly stipends, allowances, and student exchange programs.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education is actively involved in facilitating scholarship programs for students at Qatar University and other national universities, as well as Education City universities and institutions in the United States and Canada. By organizing introductory meetings and providing necessary guidance and support, the ministry aims to ensure that scholarship students have a positive and fulfilling academic experience. As scholarship recipients embark on their academic journey, they can rely on the ministry and scholarship officials for assistance and advice to enhance their educational opportunities and success during the academic year 2024/2025.
