Ducab Metals Business (DMB), a subsidiary of Ducab Group, recently announced the expansion of its annual production capacity for aluminium and bare copper products in response to increasing global demand for UAE-manufactured products. The production capacity has been doubled from 55,000 tonnes per annum to 110,000 tonnes per annum. This move is a significant step towards enhancing DMB’s position in the international metals market and supporting the UAE’s Operation 300bn industrial strategy, aimed at promoting economic diversification and solidifying the country’s leadership in high-quality industrial manufacturing.

The expansion announcement was made at the ‘Ducab Metals Business Expansion Forum: Advancing Capacity, Driving Innovation,’ in partnership with Middle East Economic Digest (MEED). Mohammad Almutawa, CEO of Ducab Group, highlighted the company’s commitment to increasing industrial and production capacities through strategic investments aligned with Operation 300bn. This expansion not only allows Ducab to meet international demand but also elevates the ‘Made in the Emirates’ brand, enhancing global competitiveness and supporting sustainable business growth.

Mohamed Al Ahmedi, CEO of DMB, emphasized the company’s dedication to strengthening the UAE’s industrial sector through the doubling of aluminium production and expansion of copper capabilities. This strategic move aims to secure leadership in metal manufacturing, drive innovation, and establish DMB as a major global producer. By adopting advanced sustainable technologies and pioneering new industrial solutions, DMB continues to lead in industrial and technological advancement.

The recent enlargement of DMB’s facilities at KEZAD Group, along with the acquisition of GIC Magnet, reinforces DMB’s role as a key manufacturing hub. The increase in total space by 51,015 square meters enables DMB to better serve industries such as healthcare, automotive, and packaging, broadening its product range and expanding its global footprint. The adoption of advanced technologies and innovative solutions further solidifies DMB’s position in the market and showcases its commitment to industrial excellence.

In conclusion, the expansion of DMB’s production capacity for aluminium and bare copper products marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey towards achieving global competitiveness and supporting the UAE’s industrial growth. The strategic investments and technological advancements reinforce DMB’s leadership in metal manufacturing and drive innovation in the industry. By aligning with Operation 300bn and promoting economic diversification, DMB continues to strengthen the UAE’s position as a leading hub for future industries and attract greater global investments.
