A sponsored Umrah pilgrimage trip is set for 76 Dubai Police employees and retired staff. It will be the seventeenth batch to embark on this journey and the second Umrah trip in 2024. The trip will last for 6 days and will be split between Makkah and Madinah, as stated by Abdullah Al Falahi from the Islamic Affairs and Tolerance Section. The participants were provided with religious, practical, and health guidance for the upcoming trip, which will commence on Wednesday from Dubai International Airport.

The accompanying preacher, Sheikh Dr. Sharif Abdullah, shared proper etiquette for visiting Makkah and Madinah, as well as detailed instructions on psychological preparation for the pilgrimage and the practices and prohibitions of Ihram. The employees were also briefed on the step-by-step explanation of the Umrah rituals and their religious rulings. This initiative is part of Dubai Police’s efforts to boost employee happiness and reward them for their hard work. The employees expressed gratitude and happiness to the General Command of Dubai Police for this opportunity.

The meeting was held by the Islamic Affairs and Tolerance Section of the Security Awareness Department, following the directives of Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness. The meeting took place at the General Department of Forensics and Criminology. This initiative highlights Dubai Police’s commitment to supporting their employees and promoting overall well-being through spiritual journeys like the Umrah pilgrimage.

In conclusion, the sponsored Umrah pilgrimage trip for Dubai Police employees and retired staff exemplifies the organization’s dedication to employee happiness and well-being. This initiative provides an opportunity for participants to deepen their faith and spirituality through a guided journey to Makkah and Madinah. By offering religious, practical, and health guidance, Dubai Police ensures that participants are prepared for the pilgrimage both physically and mentally. The support and care shown towards employees showcase the organization’s commitment to fostering a positive work environment and rewarding hard work. Overall, this gesture of sponsoring the Umrah pilgrimage trip reflects Dubai Police’s efforts to prioritize the happiness and well-being of their staff, further solidifying their reputation as an employer that values its employees.
