A new bridge has been inaugurated on Al Khail Road between the intersections of Al Khamila and Hessa Street by the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in an effort to ease traffic towards Deira. The two-lane bridge is designed to accommodate 3,200 vehicles per hour and spans 700 meters. Along with the bridge, improvements to surface roads spanning 900 meters were also implemented as part of the project.

RTA stated that the main goal of the 700-meter bridge is to enhance traffic flow from Jumeirah Village Circle to Al Khail Road towards Deira, connecting residential and development areas to achieve transport efficiency. The project is expected to significantly reduce travel time for motorists by up to 70 percent, making commuting easier and more efficient for residents in the area.

This new bridge comes as part of the Garn Al Sabkha-Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road Intersection Improvement Project, which aims to enhance road infrastructure and connectivity in Dubai. The opening of the bridge marks a milestone in the ongoing efforts to improve transportation in the city and provide better mobility solutions for residents and commuters.

With the inauguration of the new bridge on Al Khail Road, the RTA continues its commitment to developing and upgrading the road network in Dubai to keep pace with the growing population and increasing traffic demands. The addition of the bridge and improvements to surface roads will contribute to smoother traffic flow and reduced congestion in the area.

Residents and motorists in Dubai can look forward to a more efficient and convenient commuting experience with the opening of the new bridge. The project is a testament to the RTA’s dedication to enhancing transportation infrastructure in the city and providing residents with better connectivity and accessibility to key areas of Dubai.

In conclusion, the inauguration of the new bridge on Al Khail Road is a significant development in the ongoing efforts to improve transportation in Dubai. The project is expected to have a positive impact on traffic flow and travel time for motorists, contributing to a more efficient and convenient commuting experience for residents in the area. The RTA’s commitment to enhancing road infrastructure and connectivity highlights the city’s dedication to providing residents with better mobility solutions and ensuring smooth transportation across the city.
