Dubai-born golfer Rayhan Thomas is participating in the First Stage of the DP World Tour Qualifying School in England, where he shot a one-under-par 71 in the third round to be tied for 13th place heading into the final round. The current leader of the event is Spain’s Alejandro Aguilera, holding a two-shot advantage. Rayhan, ranked 1,246 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), remains well-positioned to finish strong and make a push for a top spot in the event.

Rayhan plans to reflect on his performances since turning professional in June earlier this year, evaluate his options, and look towards the future. He aims to compete in other tour schools such as the Korn Ferry Tour Q’School and the Asian Tour Q’School. With one round to play in the DP World Tour Qualifying School, Rayhan is focused on giving his best performance and making strategic decisions for his career in 2025.

During the third round, Rayhan had a mixed bag of results with a level-par front nine and birdies on the 13th and 16th holes. The cut line for the tournament was set at 10 over par, with 94 players making it to the third round from the initial field of 102 players. The top 21 players and ties from Donnington Grove will progress to the Second Stage of Q’School in Spain.

Rayhan has a final round tee time set for the event and is hopeful to continue his consistent play to secure a good position in the tournament. With four under par being the current qualifying line, Rayhan has a chance to make a final push towards a successful outcome. Those interested can visit the European Tour website for more information on the event and to follow the results closely.

In conclusion, Rayhan Thomas is a promising golfer with a bright future ahead. His performances in the DP World Tour Qualifying School demonstrate his skills and potential in the sport. As he navigates through the tournament and evaluates his options for the upcoming year, Rayhan remains focused on giving his best and making strategic decisions for his professional golf career. With one round to play, all eyes are on Rayhan as he aims to finish strong and secure a good position in the event.
