Omniyat, a private luxury property developer, recently announced the sale of the most expensive property in the Burj Khalifa district. The penthouse at The Lana Residences, Dorchester Collection, was sold for Dh139 million. Spanning over 16,594 sqft, the four-bedroom penthouse offers stunning views of the Marasi Marina. Dubai’s luxury market has seen significant growth in recent years, attracting high-net-worth individuals to the city.

According to Knight Frank’s report, Dubai has been a top city for luxury property sales, with 56 properties valued at over $25 million sold last year. The city also saw 431 luxury property sales valued at $10 million-plus, surpassing other major cities like London, New York, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles. Omniyat has previously set records with the sale of a penthouse at One at Palm Jumeirah for Dh102 million in 2017 and the Sky Palace at AVA at Palm Jumeirah for Dh220 million in 2023.

Mahdi Amjad, the founder and executive chairman of Omniyat, described the penthouse at The Lana Residences as a sanctuary where every detail has been carefully curated to create a sense of harmonious balance. The company recently acquired Marasi Bay Marina, signaling a transformation of the area near Downtown Dubai. Amjad believes the unique characteristics of the location will allow them to develop an exclusive lifestyle destination that is unseen in Dubai.

The high demand for luxury properties in Dubai has been fueled by wealthy individuals seeking premium real estate in the city. With an increasing number of high-end properties being sold at record prices, Dubai’s luxury market continues to thrive. Omniyat’s recent sale of a penthouse for Dh139 million in the Burj Khalifa district is a testament to the city’s appeal as a prime destination for luxury real estate investments.

As Dubai remains a top choice for luxury property buyers, developers like Omniyat are focusing on creating exceptional and unparalleled living spaces that cater to the discerning tastes of affluent individuals. The success of the recent penthouse sale at The Lana Residences reflects the growing interest in high-end properties in Dubai’s prime locations. With the city’s reputation for luxury living continuing to attract investors, the future looks bright for Dubai’s luxury real estate market.
