The Pakistan Mango Festival in Dubai is a one-day event that showcases delicious dishes made from the ‘king of fruits’. The festival offers a variety of entertainment options including live music, games, and competitions. Families can enjoy all these activities for free at the Pakistan Association Dubai in Oud Metha. The event is titled ‘Connecting Hearts – the Mangolicious Way’ this year and starts at 5pm. Pakistani mangoes are known for their quality and the country is one of the largest exporters of mangoes in the world.

Prominent figures like Emirati businessman Yaqoob Al Ali have praised the festival for its diverse cultural attendance and delicious mango varieties. There will be eight different types of Pakistani mangoes to try at the festival. The event is now in its second edition and is expected to attract thousands of attendees. Pakistan’s ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, highlighted the importance of mangoes to Pakistani culture and encouraged expats to invite friends to experience the hospitality of Pakistan.

Various mango varieties like the Sindhri, Chaunsa, and Suneri mangoes will be displayed at the festival. Dr. Faisal Ikram, president of the Pakistan Association Dubai, mentioned that the event will include stalls, prizes, stage activities, competitions, giveaways, and free mango products. Visitors also have the opportunity to purchase mangoes during the event. Last year’s festival welcomed over 5,000 visitors and organizers are hoping for a similar turnout this year. Dr. Faisal advised attendees to arrive early and stay hydrated due to the anticipated busy day.

The Pakistan Mango Festival is a collaborative effort between the Pakistan Association Dubai, Pakistan Business Council, and the Consulate-General of Pakistan, Dubai. The event aims to celebrate the rich culture of Pakistan through its most beloved fruit. Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with entertainment, food, and cultural experiences. The festival serves as a platform for promoting Pakistani mangoes and sharing the country’s traditions with the UAE community. With a diverse range of activities planned, the Pakistan Mango Festival promises to be an enjoyable and educational experience for all who attend.
