Dubai Crown Prince appoints new Chief Executive Officers for government organizations

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, recently made a series of decisions regarding the appointment of new CEOs for various Dubai Government entities. These decisions are aimed at ensuring efficient and effective leadership within these organizations. Executive Council Decision No. (54) of 2024 appointed Issam Abdulrahim Kazim as the CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing. Decision No. (55) named Mohammed Abdullah Shael AlSaadi as the CEO of Dubai Corporation for Consumer Protection and Fair Trade. Decision No. (56) appointed Essa Harab Khalifa bin Hadher as the CEO of the Economic Strategy Sector at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

Additionally, Sheikh Hamdan issued Decision No. (57) appointing Sahia Sajjad Ahmed as the CEO of Regulatory Policy and Governance at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. Decision No. (58) named Saad Mohammed Al Awadhi as the CEO of Corporate Support Services at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. Decision No. (59) stipulates the appointment of Khaled Hassan Mohammed Mubasheri as the CEO of the Legislation and Disputes Sector at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. These decisions aim to streamline operations and enhance the performance of these government entities.

All these decisions, including No. (54) to (59), are effective from 1st April 2024 and will be published in the Official Gazette, ensuring transparency and accountability in the appointment process. Furthermore, Decision No. (60) of 2024 appointed Yousuf Ahmed Yousuf Abdullah Lootah as the CEO of Strategy and Corporate Performance at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. This decision will come into effect on 1st October 2024 and will also be published in the Official Gazette, highlighting the importance of strategic leadership within the department.

These appointments reflect Sheikh Hamdan’s commitment to promoting efficient governance and driving economic growth in Dubai. By appointing experienced and qualified individuals to key leadership positions, he aims to ensure that government entities operate effectively and contribute to the overall development of the city.
