Dubai Basketball made headlines with an impressive away victory against Slovenia’s Cedevita Olimpija in Europe’s ABA League. The team put on a solid performance, led by captain Klemen Prepelic who scored 23 points. Nate Mason and Isaiah Taylor also contributed double figures to secure the win. The team’s dominance in the paint, led by Jacorey Williams, helped contain Cedevita Olimpija’s star player, Devin Robinson.

The game started with an early lead for Dubai Basketball, as Prepelic and Mason led the team to a 29-17 advantage in the first quarter. The momentum continued in the second quarter, with Dubai extending their lead to 63-42 at halftime. Despite a strong rally from Cedevita Olimpija in the third quarter, Dubai Basketball managed to hold them off and secure a 92-84 victory, marking their second consecutive win in the league.

Head coach Jurica Golemac praised the team’s performance, noting their control of the game for most of the match. He emphasized the team’s energy and intensity, especially against a tough opponent like Cedevita Olimpija. Golemac expressed satisfaction with the team’s start to the season and highlighted their ambitions to maintain competitiveness and aggression in upcoming games.

Looking ahead, Dubai Basketball will face Serbia’s Mega MIS at home in their next game at the Coca-Cola Arena. With a strong start to the season and back-to-back wins, the team is focused on maintaining their momentum and continuing to challenge their opponents. As they prepare for upcoming matches, the team is committed to staying disciplined and working hard in training to achieve their goals of success in the league.
