The DP World International League T20 is gearing up for an exciting Season 3, set to take place from January 11 to February 9, 2025. Following the success of Season 2 in 2024, where the MI Emirates emerged victorious, the upcoming tournament promises to be bigger and better than ever. With 34 matches scheduled to be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, fans can expect a month-long extravaganza of thrilling cricket action.

Season 2 of the DP World ILT20 saw a significant increase in viewership, with a total of 348 million unique viewers tuning in from around the world through Zee Network’s broadcast platforms. The tournament also experienced a surge in attendance across the three venues, with a nearly 300 percent increase in crowd numbers compared to Season 1. This boost in popularity has solidified the league’s reputation as one of the most sought-after T20 competitions globally.

CEO David White expressed his delight in announcing the window for Season 3, emphasizing the league’s commitment to delivering top-quality cricket entertainment. White highlighted the positive impact the league has had on nurturing young talent, as evidenced by the recent success of UAE players in the ACC Premier Cup. Many of these players honed their skills and gained exposure through their participation in Season 2, leading to their qualification for the Asia Cup T20 for the first time in eight years.

As preparations for Season 3 are underway, fans can expect an array of exciting announcements regarding player retention and new signings across the league’s six world-class franchises. The upcoming tournament aims to provide spectators in the stadium and viewers worldwide with a captivating experience, blending high-stakes cricket matches with engaging entertainment offerings suitable for all age groups. With a focus on delivering top-notch action and promoting the development of young talent, the DP World International League T20 is poised to continue its growth and success in the world of T20 cricket.
