Du, in partnership with the DIFC Innovation Hub, has launched the ‘du Business Entrepreneurship Programme’ to provide support to entrepreneurs and start-ups in the UAE. The launch is part of du’s commitment to promoting innovation within the business ecosystem and supporting the UAE’s economic ambitions. The programme, situated at the DIFC Innovation Hub, aims to help SMEs grow by providing training in communication, marketing, cybersecurity, and integrating the latest technologies like AI to enhance competitiveness and productivity.

The signing ceremony for the partnership was attended by key officials from both organizations, including Arif Amiri, CEO of DIFC Authority, and Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du. The programme is designed to offer a suite of resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to support growth and development across the start-up ecosystem. This initiative aligns with du’s strategic objectives of empowering SMEs and contributing to the economic diversification and innovation outlined in the UAE’s national vision.

Arif Amiri, CEO of DIFC Authority, emphasized the importance of SMEs and start-ups in driving Dubai’s economy and fostering innovation. The partnership between du and DIFC will create synergies between the two organizations, leveraging du’s telecommunications capabilities and DIFC’s expertise as a global financial hub. This collaboration aims to provide participants in the programme with access to a growing community of talent within the DIFC ecosystem.

The du Business Entrepreneurship Programme will feature highly specialized workshops focused on AI transformation within the SME and start-up sector in the UAE. Participants will learn about optimizing customer acquisition using AI technologies, building CRM systems, adopting emerging technologies, and enhancing customer engagement. In addition to promoting collaboration, the programme underscores du’s commitment to facilitating entrepreneurial success and supporting the development of SMEs in the UAE.

Entrepreneurs enrolled in the programme will have access to the DIFC Innovation Hub within the Innovation One building, offering innovative workspace solutions tailored to foster creativity and nurture new business ideas. The workspace, available to du customers through the “Letswork” app, aims to become a hub of innovation and collaboration. Entrepreneurs will benefit from customized business solution bundles from du to support the growth and scaling of tech-driven businesses within the DIFC Innovation Hub.

In conclusion, the strategic partnership between du and the DIFC Innovation Hub underscores a shared commitment to fostering the entrepreneurial environment in the Middle East. The du Business Entrepreneurship Programme aims to equip SMEs and start-ups with the tools and resources needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving business landscape, promoting innovation, productivity, and sustainable growth. By leveraging du’s telecommunications expertise and DIFC’s financial hub capabilities, the programme is poised to drive entrepreneurial success and contribute to the economic advancement of the UAE.
