French forward Paul Pogba has received good news from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), as his four-year doping ban has been reduced to 18 months. This means that Pogba will be eligible to play again from March 2025. The news was welcomed by France coach Didier Deschamps, who expressed his happiness that Pogba will be able to return to the French team soon.

Paul Pogba tested positive for testosterone in August 2023 after a match between Juventus and Udinese in Italy. He claimed that the positive test was due to a food supplement prescribed by a doctor in the United States. Pogba was provisionally suspended in September of the same year and then banned for four years by the Italian National Anti-Doping Tribunal in February. However, with the reduction of the ban, Pogba can now look forward to returning to the field.

Deschamps mentioned that he had spoken to Pogba at length during this difficult period for the player. In addition to the doping suspension, Pogba has also faced injuries and private issues, including a case of blackmail against him involving one of his brothers. Despite the challenges he has faced, the news of the reduced ban has brought relief to Pogba, who is looking forward to returning to playing football.

The 31-year-old Pogba, who has won the World Cup with France, is known for his skills and talent on the field. His return will be eagerly anticipated by fans and teammates alike. Deschamps praised Pogba’s love for the game and his determination to get back to playing. The reduced ban has given Pogba hope and motivation to work towards his return to the sport that he is passionate about.

Pogba’s presence will be a boost for both the French national team and his club team, Juventus. He is expected to resume training and preparations for his return to the field. The news of his reduced ban has come as a ray of hope for Pogba, who is looking forward to putting this difficult period behind him and focusing on his career. With his talent and determination, Pogba is set to make a strong comeback and continue to shine on the football field.
