Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah recently met with Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs of Namibia H E Frans Kapofi and his accompanying delegation during their visit to Qatar. The meeting began with an official reception ceremony to honor the guests. The discussions during the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, as well as ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials from both sides, including Commander of the Joint Special Forces H E Staff Major General Jassim bin Ali Al Attiyah and Deputy Commander of the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces H E Major General (Navy) Abdullah Ali Al Mazrouei.
