Coach Waleed Al-Hujairi pleased with Sharjah women’s basketball teams’ performance – News

The Sharjah Women’s Sports Club recently hosted three matches against United Jeddah from Saudi Arabia as part of their week-long training camp. The main team of Sharjah secured a win in the first match with a score of 39-35, while the central branch team faced a defeat with a score of 37-84 in the second match. The third and final match ended with Sharjah’s main team clinching a narrow victory of 63-60, marking the end of the Saudi team’s preparation camp in the UAE.

Coach Waleed Al-Hujairi, head coach of the Sharjah main team, expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in the matches against the Saudi team. He mentioned that the first game featured various tactical strategies to assess the team’s level after their initial preparation camp in Turkey. Fatma Barakallah, coach of the central branch team, also expressed satisfaction with her players’ performance despite the loss, viewing the match as valuable preparation for upcoming official competitions this season.

The matches served as a valuable experience for both teams to gauge their performance and make necessary improvements. It was an opportunity for the players to showcase their skills and teamwork on the court. The coaches highlighted the importance of such friendly matches in enhancing the players’ abilities and readiness for future competitions.
