Capital Governorate Undergoing Major Infrastructure Upgrade to Improve Public Services and Roads

The Capital Governorate in Bahrain is undergoing a major revamp of its infrastructure, aiming to enhance public services and improve the quality of life for residents. Spearheaded by the Capital Municipality Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Works, the initiative includes extensive works on road development, sewage network expansion, and traffic safety improvements.

Engineer Saleh Tarada, Chairman of the Capital Municipal Council, has highlighted the importance of infrastructure development in the Capital Governorate. He pointed out the ongoing projects being carried out by the Ministry of Works, such as the establishment of a sewage network in various blocks in Sitra, serving hundreds of properties. Other sewage network projects are also underway in Nabih Saleh and Tubli, benefiting a significant number of properties.

Apart from sewage network expansion, the revamp plan also includes road network enhancements in key areas like East Sitra, Juffair, Ma’ameer, Jidhafs, and Mahaza. Additionally, road development projects in Isa Town and Nabih Saleh are being closely supervised by the Capital Municipality Council. Engineer Tarada emphasized that these projects are crucial for improving public services and supporting the urban development of the area.

The main goal of the infrastructure revamp in the Capital Governorate is to address the growing needs of the residents and improve their overall quality of life. With a focus on road development, sewage network expansion, and traffic safety improvements, the project aims to enhance public services and create a more sustainable living environment for the community.
