During his visit, Sheikh Mohammed observed the daily operations and protocols put in place to assist travellers in completing their travel procedures. He also personally inspected different sections of the airport to ensure that quality facilities were being provided for departing and arriving passengers. The airport has seen a significant increase in the number of travellers during the first quarter of 2024, with 23 million passengers, reflecting an 8.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
