Trusity’s truPreneurs program has successfully concluded its latest edition, empowering young minds with essential skills and knowledge for the business world. The winners of the ‘Best Startup Pitch Award’ were awarded with Dh10,000 as startup funding package per project, along with mentorship and guidance. The program aims to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs who embody creativity, sustainability, and social responsibility.

The truPreneurs program blends Stanford’s Design Thinking Process, European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework, TED Talks, and Guy Kawasaki’s 10/20/30 Rule to foster entrepreneurship skills and encourage innovation among young learners. Participants were guided through a comprehensive process of business idea commercialization, starting from ideation to market validation, business model development, and pitching.

The program featured innovative pitches spanning healthcare solutions, sustainable initiatives, and tech innovations. The competition criteria included uniqueness of the idea, market viability, communication prowess, and presentation strength. The judging panel comprised industry experts, investors, and entrepreneurs who selected the winners based on their exceptional performance.

16-year-old entrepreneurs from Raffles World Academy, Harsimar Kaur Chhatwal, and Dhwani Mehta developed TeenEdge, a platform for highschoolers offering resources for university admissions and opportunities for internships, volunteering, and scholarships. 17-year-old Gauri Nanda Salu from Indian High School, Dubai, created HealthSync, a health solution for Indian expats to remotely monitor their parents’ health, bridging geographical divides.

Trusity’s truPreneurs program aims to nurture innovative thinkers and entrepreneurs by providing essential skills, knowledge, and support. The program prepares youth for the future job market and entrepreneurial landscape, empowering them to drive positive change and innovation in society. Through a blend of practical learning, mentorship, and real-world experience, participants are equipped with the necessary tools to succeed in the dynamic world of business.
