Alsulaiman Group recently announced the selection of five distinguished companies to join their Sustainability Champions Program as mentees. These new members — Extra, Saudia Cargo, Johnson Controls Arabia, Nesma, and Floward — are industry leaders who have shown a commitment to advancing sustainability and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The announcement was made during a pledge signing event in Jeddah, where CEOs of the newly inducted mentees signed a formal pledge to implement sustainable business practices and help Saudi Arabia achieve its goal of net-zero emissions by 2060. This marks a significant step in their journey towards creating lasting environmental and social impact.

The Sustainability Champions Program, under the patronage of MEP, was officially launched during the World Economic Forum Special Meeting in Riyadh last April. This program is designed to mentor leading organizations, providing them with the expertise, resources, and guidance needed to incorporate sustainability into their core operations. Saud Alsulaiman, CEO of Alsulaiman Group, expressed his enthusiasm for welcoming these esteemed organizations as mentees, stating that their pledge marks a commitment to reshaping their industries and contributing to a sustainable future for Saudi Arabia. Alsulaiman Group is proud to mentor and support these companies on their transformative journey towards sustainability.

As a recognized Sustainability Champion by MEP, Alsulaiman Group partners with Sustainability Excellence, a leading sustainability consultancy, to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovation among companies. This partnership aims to empower companies to align their operations with sustainability principles and the broader objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 includes a bold sustainability agenda focused on diversifying the economy, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting sustainable business practices. The Sustainability Champions Program aligns with these ambitions, helping companies achieve significant environmental, social, and economic progress.

The Sustainability Champions Program aims to support companies across the Kingdom in achieving sustainability goals set forth by Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The program helps companies make significant progress towards environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Through collective efforts and collaboration, Saudi Arabia is paving the way for a sustainable future that emphasizes economic growth while taking care of the environment. The Sustainability Champions Program serves as a key initiative in this journey towards sustainability, providing companies with the resources and guidance needed to embed sustainability into their operations and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s broader sustainability goals.
