Al Hadeetha Resources, a prominent mining company in Oman, has recently achieved a significant milestone by exporting its first copper concentrate from the Sultanate. This achievement is a testament to Oman’s commitment to diversifying its economy and establishing itself as a key player in the global copper market. The project, located in Al Washihi – Al Majaza in the North Al Sharqiyah region, is part of Oman’s strategic initiatives to boost the minerals sector and drive economic growth.

The successful export of copper concentrate is a result of the dedication and hard work of Al Hadeetha Resources, as well as the unwavering support of the Omani government, led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The Ministry of Energy and Minerals has played a crucial role in supporting the company’s efforts to extract and refine copper ore, thus creating high-quality copper concentrate. This project not only aims to boost the local economy but also create job opportunities for Omani citizens and attract foreign currency into the country.

Sayyid Khalid Bin Hamed Bin Saif Al Busaidy, the Chairman of Al Hadeetha Resources, expressed his pride in this momentous occasion, stating that it marks the beginning of a new era for Oman’s mining industry. He highlighted the various ways in which this milestone will benefit the Sultanate’s economy, including creating employment opportunities, increasing the in-country value, and supporting local communities. This achievement is a significant step towards achieving sustainable development and economic prosperity in Oman.

The export of copper concentrate from Al Hadeetha Resources is a clear indication of Oman’s commitment to economic diversification and sustainable growth. The company’s ongoing efforts to enhance the minerals sector will continue to contribute to the nation’s prosperity and position Oman as a key player in the global copper market. This milestone represents just the beginning of a promising future for Oman’s mining industry, with the potential for significant economic benefits and growth opportunities on the horizon.
