The 2024 Thailand International Mega Fair kicked off with a grand opening ceremony at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre, aiming to strengthen cultural and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Thailand. The event is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia, showcasing Thailand’s rich culture and potential for economic cooperation. With over 200 brands presenting innovative Thai products across various industries, the fair represents a historic collaboration between the two countries, fostering a new era of trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

Organized by Index Creative Village Public Company Limited in collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and other entities, the fair is supported by the Royal Thai Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the Tourism Authority of Thailand. This year’s event aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and positions Thailand as a premier travel destination for Saudi tourists, emphasizing high-quality tourism experiences. The exhibition also supports the visions of public and private sector institutions, providing them with access to Thailand’s vibrant market and strengthening economic relations between the Kingdom and Thailand.

The opening ceremony was attended by prominent figures from both countries, who discussed the future of Saudi-Thai economic relations. The fair, which runs for three days, features cultural and artistic segments with daily Thai performances, offering visitors an immersive experience filled with activities, product launches, networking opportunities, and interactive showcases. With an expected attendance of over 12,000 visitors, the exhibition provides a platform for industry experts, suppliers, and sector leaders to connect, build partnerships, and expand their businesses in the Kingdom.

Interested attendees can register in advance through the official website, where they can also find information on seminars, discussion panels, and forums offering valuable insights on the economic landscape in the region. The event highlights Thailand’s presence in the Middle East and its commitment to fostering closer ties with Saudi Arabia, showcasing unique Thai products and services in sectors such as food and beverages, tourism and hospitality, health, automotive parts, smart agriculture, innovation, and fragrances. By bringing together businesses from both countries, the fair serves as a catalyst for economic growth and cooperation between Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
