India is quickly establishing itself as the manufacturing hub of the world, as stated by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at the Viksit Bharat Ambasaddor event held at the National Stock Exchange in Mumbai. The minister emphasized India’s achievement in rolling out the world’s fastest 5G network using equipment developed within the country. He shared a heartwarming anecdote about a girl from a village in Bihar who, after training, skillfully operates complex mobile equipment with confidence. The girl’s success story symbolizes the growth and empowerment that is taking place in the manufacturing sector in India.

Vaishnaw also highlighted an important milestone for India, stating that while most of Europe is still relying on 3G and 4G networks, India has already implemented 5G technology as early as 2022. The minister praised the rapid deployment of 5G towers across the country and emphasized the efficiency and speed at which the roll out was accomplished. This accomplishment has garnered attention globally, positioning India as a leader in the field of 5G technology. The world is now looking towards India as a model for efficient and effective 5G network deployment.

One of the key points made by the minister was the use of indigenous equipment in the 5G network deployment in India. He mentioned that 80 percent of the equipment used in the 5G rollout was made in India, showcasing the technological advancements and capabilities of the country. This achievement underscores the self-reliant and innovative approach that India is taking towards technological development, further solidifying its position as a global manufacturing powerhouse.

The girl from Bihar mentioned by the minister serves as an inspiring example of the opportunities and growth that are emerging in India’s manufacturing sector. With the successful implementation of the 5G network and the utilization of indigenous equipment, India is making significant strides in technology and innovation. The country’s rapid progress in this field is drawing admiration and recognition from around the world. India’s ability to quickly adapt and excel in the realm of 5G technology is setting a new benchmark for global manufacturing standards.

Vaishnaw’s remarks at the event underscore the importance of investing in skills development and training for individuals in rural areas, as demonstrated by the girl from Bihar who found success in operating advanced mobile equipment. Through such initiatives, India is not only empowering its workforce but also showcasing its potential to become a leading player in the global manufacturing landscape. The government’s focus on innovation, self-reliance, and technological advancement is positioning India as a frontrunner in the 5G technology race, with the world taking notice of the country’s remarkable achievements.

In conclusion, India’s progress in establishing itself as a manufacturing hub and its successful rollout of the 5G network exemplify the country’s commitment to technological development and innovation. With a focus on indigenous equipment and skill development, India is paving the way for a future where it leads the world in manufacturing capabilities. The success story of the girl from Bihar is a testament to the opportunities and advancements that are emerging in India’s manufacturing sector, highlighting the country’s potential to become a global leader in technology and innovation.
