In recent years, the field of AI has seen rapid growth, with generative AI and large AI models revolutionizing applications across various industries. At the same time, cloud computing has expanded significantly, leading to an increase in computing power, parameters, and data volume. Many governments and enterprises are now integrating AI into practical applications to accelerate their digital transformation efforts, with a focus on cloud technologies to foster innovation and intelligence.

In the Middle East and Central Asia, government entities and enterprises are at the forefront of digital transformation, with initiatives like Vision 2030 by Saudi Arabia and ‘Digital Nation’ by Azerbaijan. They are actively deploying cloud technologies to streamline services and accelerate innovation. Huawei Cloud Stack offers a trusted on-premises cloud solution that can help customers achieve service innovation. With support for over 110 cloud services and more than 5,500 global customers, including government and financial institutions, Huawei Cloud Stack is a versatile and reliable option for cloud deployment.

Huawei Cloud Stack has introduced the industry’s first hybrid cloud for large AI models, featuring Pangu models. This solution offers a comprehensive AI pipeline, with support for over 30 mainstream open-source large AI models and efficient tools for migration. With tailored AI models for various sectors and professional services, Huawei Cloud Stack empowers industries like government, finance, and meteorology to deploy large AI models seamlessly.

At the Huawei Cloud TechWave Summit 2024, Huawei introduced the new Huawei Cloud Stack 8.3, featuring a solid cloud foundation and innovative capabilities covering GaussDB – a distributed cloud database, mainframe modernization, data lakes, large AI models, and industrial Internet. GaussDB offers high performance and reliability, while mainframe modernization accelerates core system transformation. The converged data lake improves data sharing and circulation, and the industrial Internet integration with AI enables new industrialisation.

Huawei Cloud’s Leap2Cloud initiative encourages enterprises to embrace cloud-native technologies and leverage AI and big data for accelerated innovation. With success cases like Ankabut, the largest ICT service provider in the UAE’s education sector, and the Uzbekistan Digital Government Project Management Center – Government Cloud, Huawei Cloud has proven its value in transforming digital infrastructure and improving government services through innovative cloud solutions. By diving into the cloud and unleashing its value, businesses can accelerate their digital transformation journey and thrive in the era of digital and intelligent technologies.
