Emirates has revealed the first cities on its network to be served with its newest Boeing 777 cabin interiors, including Geneva, Tokyo Haneda, and Brussels. Customers will have the opportunity to experience the airline’s Premium Economy and next-generation Business Class seats in a new 1-2-1 configuration on these aircraft. Flights to these destinations are now available for booking on the Emirates website, app, or through travel agents.

Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, expressed excitement about introducing their acclaimed products to more cities already served by the Boeing 777. The revamped interiors of the Boeing 777 draw inspiration from the flagship A380, offering modern design details, signature finishes, and enhanced comfort for passengers in all cabin classes. The newly refurbished aircraft will provide a consistent experience alongside the A380.

The first upgraded Emirates Boeing 777 flights will operate to Geneva from August 11, Tokyo Haneda from September 1, and Brussels from September 11. The cabin refurbishment process will involve updating the First Class cabin, installing new Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, adding Premium Economy seats, and upgrading Economy Class seats. The focus is on customer privacy, comfort, and personalized amenities for all passengers.

Business Class seats on the refurbished Boeing 777 offer a flat bed with wide seats, ample legroom, and direct aisle access for every passenger. Each seat features a touch screen controller, a large HD screen connected to the in-flight entertainment system, a personal mini-bar, charging outlets, and additional storage space. The cabin also includes a small bar for mid-flight snacks and refreshments, enhancing the overall passenger experience.

Emirates plans to refurbish a total of 81 Boeing 777 aircraft as part of its retrofit program, with more destinations set to receive the latest cabin products in the coming months. The airline has allocated 191 aircraft for a full revamp, investing over US$3 billion to enhance the passenger experience. Emirates’ Premium Economy is currently available on refurbished A380 aircraft flying to various destinations worldwide.

By February 2025, Emirates aims to offer Premium Economy on flights to over 36 cities, with the introduction of the A350 into its fleet and the continued rollout of refurbished A380s and Boeing 777s. The airline is committed to delivering top-notch products and customer experiences in the air, ensuring that passengers have a comfortable and enjoyable journey on all its aircraft.
