The aviation sector in Saudi Arabia is rapidly evolving, with the third edition of the Saudi Airport Exhibition set to take place on November 11-12 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. This exhibition will serve as a premier platform to showcase the Kingdom’s ambitious airport development plans and support its Vision 2030 goals of becoming a leading aviation hub.

The event will bring together major companies, airport operators, and service providers from around the world to foster collaboration and innovation. With Saudi airports experiencing significant increases in passenger and cargo traffic, the exhibition will be crucial for exploring advancements in airport infrastructure, ground handling, air traffic management, and sustainable technologies. The Kingdom aims to increase its annual passenger capacity to 330 million by 2030, making it an attractive market for international and local stakeholders.

The Saudi Airport Exhibition will feature top industry leaders and multinational companies, reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a regional aviation hub. Sponsored by notable companies such as Matarat Holding, SAFARI Group, SITA, and METCO, the event will include panels, workshops, networking opportunities, and an awarding ceremony. It will provide a central platform for driving innovation, fostering partnerships, and networking in the aviation sector.

In addition to the exhibition, the Global Aviation Issues Conference will address pressing challenges and opportunities in the aviation sector, supported by sponsors such as SAFARI Group, Vanderlande, Amadeus, and Parsons. The Women in Aviation General Assembly will also celebrate the achievements and future potential of women in aviation, aiming to empower women and drive inclusivity within the industry.

The Airport Excellence Awards 2024 will honor exemplary contributions in critical industry categories such as airport design and infrastructure, revenue optimization, security, baggage handling, facility management, ground support solutions, innovation and technology, passenger experience, and sustainability. These initiatives reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to a $147 billion airport expansion strategy, projected to add $75 billion to GDP by 2030 and create thousands of jobs.

Overall, the Saudi Airport Exhibition is set to be a crucial event for international and local stakeholders looking to invest and innovate in one of the world’s most dynamic aviation markets. With a focus on expansion and sustainability, the exhibition will play a significant role in driving the Kingdom’s vision for transformative growth in the aviation industry.
