Jung Kook, a member of the popular K-pop group BTS, is gearing up to release a new documentary titled ‘Jung Kook: I Am Still’. The documentary is set to be a video diary showcasing the singer’s “eight-month journey” to his solo debut and will be screened in theatres globally on September 18. Directed by Junsoo Park, who has previously worked on films dedicated to BTS and its members, as well as other projects by Big Hit Music, BTS’ record label, the documentary promises an intimate look into Jung Kook’s creative process, work ethic, and the challenges faced by a global superstar.

Set to premiere on September 18, ‘Jung Kook: I Am Still’ will have limited screenings in over 120 countries and regions. The documentary is said to begin around the time of Jung Kook’s release of ‘Seven’, a song featuring American rapper Latto, leading up to his first solo album, ‘Golden’. Big Hit describes the film as featuring exclusive never-before-seen footage, interviews, electrifying live performances, and an in-depth exploration of the journey behind Jung Kook’s solo debut that propelled him to global stardom.

Distribution of the documentary will be handled by Trafalgar Releasing, and CEO Marc Allenby expressed excitement about the partnership with Hybe on this project. According to Allenby, bringing Jung Kook’s story to the big screen highlights the power of shared experiences and aims to create an enjoyable viewing experience for fans. The film promises to showcase Jung Kook’s artistry and his evolution into a global popstar, offering viewers an inside look into his journey and the challenges he faced along the way.

As anticipation builds for the release of ‘Jung Kook: I Am Still’, fans of BTS, known as the ARMY, are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to come together and experience the documentary on the big screen. With the success of previous films dedicated to BTS and its members, this documentary is expected to resonate with audiences worldwide. By offering a personal glimpse into Jung Kook’s life and career, the film aims to provide a deeper understanding of the artist’s journey as he navigates the complexities of fame and success in the music industry.

Overall, ‘Jung Kook: I Am Still’ promises to be a compelling and emotional exploration of Jung Kook’s solo debut journey, showcasing his growth as an artist and the challenges he faced along the way. The documentary, directed by Junsoo Park and distributed by Trafalgar Releasing, is set to premiere on September 18 in theatres worldwide. With exclusive footage, interviews, and live performances, the film offers a unique look into the life of one of K-pop’s biggest stars and provides fans with an intimate viewing experience that celebrates Jung Kook’s artistry and dedication to his craft.
