LuLu Saudi Hypermarket, a leading retail chain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will play a significant role in enhancing the commercial ties between Saudi Arabia and Brazil. This was announced during a visit by the Vice-President of Brazil to Saudi Arabia, where an MOU was signed between LuLu Hypermarket and ApexBrasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency. The aim of the MOU is to increase awareness of Brazilian products in Saudi Arabia and boost consumption of these products through LuLu’s extensive retail platform.

The signing of the MOU took place in the presence of high-ranking officials from both countries, including Jorge Ney Viana Macedo Neves, President of ApexBrasil, and Shehim Mohammed, Director of LuLu Hypermarkets. The visit of the Brazilian Vice President, along with a delegation of ministers and businesspeople, highlights their commitment to strengthening ties with Saudi Arabia and exploring new markets for Brazilian goods. Brazil, known for its robust agricultural industry, sees Saudi Arabia as a key market for its products, including rice, maize, soybean, and various other agricultural produce.

Shehim Mohammed, Director of LuLu Hypermarkets, expressed excitement about the partnership with Brazil and highlighted the reputation of Brazilian products in the agricultural and meat sectors.
