Indian shooter Manu Bhaker made history by winning a bronze medal in the women’s Air Pistol event at the Paris Olympics. This achievement marked the first time an Indian woman has won a shooting medal at the Olympics, bringing immense pride and joy to the nation. The gold medal in the women’s Air Pistol event at the Paris Olympics was claimed by South Korea’s Ye Jin, who set an Olympic record with 243.2 points. Ye Jin’s compatriot, Kim Yeji, secured the silver medal with 241.3 points, showcasing the fierce competition in the event. Despite the tough competition, Bhaker’s exceptional performance and determination enabled her to clinch the bronze medal, earning a well-deserved place among the top shooters in the world.
