beIN Sports to air five Cup finals on ‘memorable Saturday’

This weekend, beIN Sports is offering an incredible lineup of live and exclusive coverage of elite sports from around the world. Starting on Saturday 25 May, the network will be showcasing an unprecedented 48 hours of sporting action, including finals of continental cup competitions, domestic cups, and the final round of the 2023-24 La Liga season. From an all-Arab CAF African Champions League final in Cairo to the UEFA Women’s Champions League final between Barcelona and Lyon, there is something for every sports fan to enjoy.

In Cairo, fans can tune in to watch Egypt’s Al Ahly take on ES Tunis of Tunisia in an all-Arab CAF African Champions League final. With the aggregate score tied at 0-0 after the first leg, anticipation is high for this thrilling matchup. In Abu Dhabi, Al Ain will be facing off against Japan’s Yokohama F Marinos in the AFC Asian Champions League final, with Al Ain looking to overturn a one-goal deficit. The action kicks off on beIN Sports AFC at 19:00 Mecca.

For fans of women’s football, the UEFA Women’s Champions League final between Barcelona and Lyon will be aired live on beIN Sports’ free-to-air channel at 19:00 Mecca. Barcelona will be looking to defend their title against the record eight-time winners Lyon. Additionally, the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United will be a must-watch event as the oldest club competition in world football comes to a head. Arabic and English studio coverage will begin at 16:00 Mecca on beIN Sports 1 and beIN Sports 1 English before the match kicks off at 17:00 Mecca.

In addition to these exciting finals, there will be coverage of the French Cup final between Lyon and PSG, which will be Kylian Mbappe’s last match for PSG before he moves to a new club. On Sunday, there will be exclusive coverage of the EFL Championship playoff final between Leeds United and Southampton at Wembley Stadium. This match is considered one of the most lucrative in world football, with the winner projected to earn over £170m ($213m) in revenue and secure a place in the English Premier League. Coverage will begin at 16:30 Mecca on beIN Sports 1 and beIN Sports 1 English.

Lastly, motorsport fans can look forward to all 78 laps of the Monaco Grand Prix from the Monte Carlo Street Circuit, with pre-race Arabic and English studio analysis starting at 14:30 Mecca on beIN Sports 8 and beIN Sports 2 English. Additionally, the start of the French Open at Roland Garros will be broadcast on beIN Sports 7 from 12:45 Mecca. With such a packed schedule of sporting events, beIN Sports is the place to be this weekend for all sports enthusiasts in the MENA region.
