The Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) recently announced the final preparations for the grand finale of the Amir Cup tournament. This highly-anticipated event will feature a face-off between Al Sadd and Al Arabi, with both teams vying for the prestigious title. The QBF Secretary General, Saadoun Al Kuwari, expressed his excitement for the upcoming final and predicted a thrilling match. Al Arabi is aiming to make history by securing a treble of titles, while Al Sadd is looking to claim their first title of the season.

During a press conference at the QBF headquarters, Al Kuwari congratulated both teams for reaching the final and praised their resilience and exceptional skills throughout the tournament. He assured fans that all arrangements are in place to host an entertaining final, with a variety of prizes up for grabs for lucky attendees. Sponsors Al Attiya Motors and Trading Company will be providing a car as one of the prizes, with a grand prize also being awarded to the top player of the final. These awards are designed to inspire players to perform at their highest level and showcase their talents on the court.

The head coach of Al Arabi, Hatem Mamlouk, expressed his team’s determination to create history by clinching a hat-trick of titles. Having already secured the Qatar Cup and League Crowns, Al Arabi is eager to add the Amir Cup to their list of accomplishments. Player Khaled Rushdi echoed this sentiment, stating that the team is excited to join the elite clubs that have won three titles in a single season. On the other side, Al Sadd’s coach Yasser Ahmed exuded confidence in his team despite facing challenges throughout the season. He acknowledged the competitive spirit of Al Arabi but emphasized that Al Sadd has the potential to upset their rivals in the final showdown.

The press conference was attended by notable individuals, including QBF’s Media Committee Chairman Dr. Khaled Al Qahtani, Al Arabi’s head of basketball Abdul Rahman Bu Faisal Al Darwish, and Al Sadd’s Head of Basketball Khaled Al Tamimi. The final match is scheduled to tip off at 6:30 pm at the Al Gharafa Sports Club court. Basketball enthusiasts and fans of both teams can look forward to an exciting and intense battle for the coveted Amir Cup title. As the teams gear up for the final showdown, all eyes will be on the court as Al Sadd and Al Arabi compete for basketball glory in Qatar.
