Bahrain recently launched the second season of the ‘Bahraini Camera’ initiative, which aims to showcase short documentaries highlighting influential figures and providing a platform for young filmmakers. This initiative falls under The National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship (Bahrainouna) and is a collaboration with the Ministry of Information. Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, attended the event and expressed the Ministry’s full support for the project.

The main goal of the Bahraini Camera initiative is to spotlight exceptional Bahrainis and give aspiring filmmakers a chance to showcase their work. A selection committee will evaluate the films submitted and recognize the most outstanding ones for further accolades. Major General Mohammed bin Dainah, General Supervisor of Bahrainouna, described the initiative as a tribute to Bahrain’s artistic heritage, aligning with the royal vision that inspired the National Plan.
