Bahrain recognizes leaders in Artificial Intelligence at 3rd World CIO 200 Summit

The Kingdom of Bahrain recently hosted the Third World CIO 200 Summit, recognizing 38 key executives for their contributions to Artificial Intelligence (AI) advancements in the nation. The event, under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, celebrated executives from various sectors like education, industry, finance, insurance, shipping, and healthcare. These executives were acknowledged for driving and supporting AI initiatives in both public and private entities. Six individuals will now advance to the final stages of the competition in Cape Town, South Africa, making this summit the biggest AI-focused event in the region.

Dr. Jassim Haji, President of the Global AI Group and the conference, praised the forward-thinking approach of Bahraini executives in adopting AI advancements and leading institutional development through cutting-edge solutions. He highlighted the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in driving AI progress within Bahrain. The collaborative effort between the Global AI Group, GEC Media from the UAE, the General Sports Authority, and the His Highness Shaikh Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre resulted in the success of the Third World CIO 200 Summit in Bahrain. His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed presented awards to the 38 executives, recognizing their dedication and commitment to developing robust organizational strategies that effectively integrate AI solutions in various sectors of the economy.
