Bahrain makes progress in Arab space collaboration

The National Space Science Agency (NSSA) recently participated in the 10th session of the Arab Space Cooperation Group, which took place alongside The Egypt International Aviation and Space Exhibition 2024 in New Alamein City. This event brought together leaders from Arab space agencies and key officials to discuss important recommendations aimed at improving space collaboration and supporting sustainable development through space technology. Dr. Mohamed Al Aseeri, the CEO of NSSA, led Bahrain’s delegation and reported on the latest updates and proposals from the 14 Arab member states.

During the discussions, working groups focused on joint space projects and capacity building, highlighting the importance of cooperation among Arab countries in the field of space technology. Bahrain showcased its achievements since the last meeting and engaged in talks about enhancing future Arab space efforts.
