Under the generous patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the launch ceremony for the second edition of the “Qadha” program was held today. The event was attended by ministers, senior officials, artists, and other distinguished guests, highlighting the significance of the initiative in shaping the character of Bahraini youth.

## Empowering Bahraini Youth Through “Qadha”

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized that the “Qadha” program is a pioneering initiative aimed at developing the character of Bahraini youth based on discipline, leadership, challenge, and commitment. He noted that the launch of the program’s second edition aligns with the ambitious vision of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. The vision is to enhance the role of Bahraini youth in national development by fostering leadership, physical, and psychological skills through practical experiences.

The “Qadha” program provides a unique platform for discovering young talents and channeling their positive energy in a training environment that simulates real-life challenges. By combining teamwork and discipline, the program instills values of commitment, challenge, and service to the nation. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his firm belief that investing in Bahraini youth is a true investment in the future, as supporting and empowering young people is key to enhancing Bahrain’s regional and global leadership.

## Behind the Scenes of “Qadha”

The launch event included a behind-the-scenes segment that showcased filming and rehearsal clips, as well as a summary of the key production stages. The production team undertook 60 days of planning and design, followed by 40 days of preparation and 15 field trials. The filming took place at 20 locations over 10 days, covering 50 events with 100 participants. The extensive editing process involved 1,500 hours of work, along with 400 interviews, demonstrating the complexity and scale of the project.

## The Vision Behind “Qadha”

Mr. Ahmed Al Sheikh, supervisor and director of the “Qadha” program, expressed his gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support and inspiring vision, which he described as the driving force behind the program’s success. He also thanked HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his close attention to all aspects of the project and his continuous encouragement to the team. The second edition of “Qadha” will be available for free on the Shahid platform starting November 13, spanning 10 episodes.

## Conclusion

The “Qadha” program represents a significant initiative in Bahrain’s efforts to empower its youth and prepare them for future leadership roles. By focusing on discipline, leadership, and teamwork, the program aims to develop the skills and character of young Bahraini individuals. As the second edition becomes available, it is expected to continue the success of the first edition, providing a valuable resource for youth development in the region. The program’s emphasis on practical experiences and real-life challenges positions it as a unique and impactful initiative in the region.
