Bahrain Chamber explores increasing trade and investment opportunities with Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ecuador

The Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce, Sameer Nass, recently highlighted the significance of strengthening trade and investment cooperation between Bahrain and the Republic of Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic of Ecuador. Emphasizing areas such as food security, medical and communications sectors, energy, and industry, Nass met with the ambassadors of these countries to discuss potential collaborations. During the meeting, Nass expressed the Chamber’s eagerness to expand bilateral trade opportunities and increase the volume of trade exchange by addressing logistical challenges.

The First Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Khalid Najibi, also expressed the Bahraini private sector’s enthusiasm for enhancing cooperation in various economic sectors with friendly countries. He stressed the need for invigorating trade and investment collaboration in diverse areas. The ambassadors of Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ecuador all expressed their keenness on enhancing bilateral relations and developing joint cooperation in various fields for mutual benefit. They highlighted the role of the Chamber in facilitating businesses and encouraging partnerships between different countries.

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ambassador specifically mentioned Bahraini investments in his country, particularly in the real estate sector. He called upon investors and business owners to seize more opportunities for investment. Similarly, Ecuador’s Ambassador emphasized the importance of exchanging visits to foster trade relations and encourage Bahrain’s business community to explore business and partnership opportunities in the tourism and food security sector. The meeting also saw the presence of Bahrain Chamber’s First Vice-Chairman Khalid Najibi, Second Vice-Chairman Mohammed Al Kooheji, and Board Members Yusuf Salahuddin, Abdulwahab Al Hawaj, and Yaqoob Al Awadhi.

Overall, the meetings emphasized the need for increased trade and investment cooperation between Bahrain and friendly countries, particularly in key sectors like food security, medical and communications, energy, and industry. The Bahrain Chamber is keen on expanding bilateral trade opportunities, increasing the volume of trade exchange, and addressing logistical challenges to facilitate better collaboration. The ambassadors of Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ecuador expressed their desire to strengthen relations and enhance joint cooperation in various fields, recognizing the mutual benefits of closer partnerships between these countries. They also highlighted the role of the Chamber in facilitating businesses and encouraging investments across different sectors.

With a focus on enhancing business relations and promoting investments, the ambassadors encouraged Bahrain’s business community to explore opportunities in their respective countries, particularly in areas like real estate, tourism, and food security. The importance of exchanging visits and fostering closer ties through trade relations was emphasized as a means to further enhance cooperation and partnership opportunities. The Bahrain Chamber’s leadership, along with its Vice-Chairman and Board Members, expressed their commitment to fostering stronger trade relations and facilitating investment opportunities between Bahrain and its friendly partner countries.
