Bahrain Chamber advocates for increased trade with Rwanda, Bosnia, and Ecuador

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by Chairman Sameer Nass, recently highlighted the importance of boosting trade and investment ties with Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ecuador. During a meeting at Nass’s office, the focus was on expanding collaboration in several key sectors such as food security, medical and communications, energy, and industry. The meeting was attended by the ambassadors of these nations, underscoring the mutual interest in enhancing bilateral relations.

Nass emphasized the Chamber’s commitment to enhancing bilateral trade with these countries by increasing trade volume, facilitating economic delegation exchanges, and addressing logistical challenges. First Vice Chairman Khalid Najibi echoed Nass’s sentiments, emphasizing the need to invigorate trade and investment across various economic sectors. Ambassador Mirenge of Rwanda reaffirmed his country’s dedication to strengthening bilateral ties, while Ambassador Jokić of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed enthusiasm for deepening business relations with Bahrain.

Ambassador Jokić commended the Chamber for fostering business connections and highlighted Bahraini investments in Bosnia’s real estate sector, urging further exploration of opportunities. Ambassador Amores of Ecuador stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in enhancing trade relations and encouraged Bahrain’s business community to explore opportunities in Ecuador’s tourism and food security sectors. The meeting also included the presence of other Chamber office bearers, indicating a strong commitment to promoting trade and investment cooperation.
