In Abu Dhabi, the authorities have confirmed that no non-halal chocolate Mars bars are being sold in the local markets. All imported food products are subject to stringent controls at various entry points to ensure they comply with approved specifications before entering the country. The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) ensures the safety of all food products in circulation, maintaining strict controls throughout the supply chain to provide reassurance to consumers.

ADAFSA’s actions are based on technical regulations, systems, and legislation rooted in scientific principles and international references. They regularly review and update food safety regulations to keep up with the latest developments. Recently, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment confirmed the safety of Perrier French water products in the UAE markets, emphasizing the regulatory processes in place to ensure the health and safety of consumers.

Authorities have reaffirmed the safety of Perrier water products being sold in the UAE, dismissing any concerns about its safety. Nestle, the parent company of Perrier, has ramped up monitoring after warnings by French regulators regarding the quality of its bottled mineral water brands, including Perrier. This move follows the discovery of traces of ‘faecal’ contamination in some sites where Nestle extracts mineral water, prompting recommendations for stricter monitoring.

Consumers can stay up to date with the latest news and food safety information by following KT on WhatsApp Channels. Inspection and sampling of food products are routinely carried out at sales centers to ensure the safety and quality of the food available for consumption. ADAFSA’s commitment to the well-being of consumers is evident in their rigorous controls and monitoring throughout the entire food supply chain.

In conclusion, the food safety authorities in Abu Dhabi are dedicated to ensuring that all food products in circulation meet the necessary safety standards. With strict controls in place at entry points and sales centers, consumers can be confident in the safety of the food they purchase. By adhering to technical regulations and regularly updating food safety practices, authorities are able to guarantee the health and well-being of the public. It is essential for consumers to stay informed about food safety measures and to be aware of the ongoing efforts to maintain high standards in the food industry.
