Qatar Tourism recently held a workshop in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) to clarify the procedures for reserving hotel halls by educational service centers in Doha, Qatar. The workshop aimed to strengthen cooperation between the two entities and ensure the quality of services provided by educational service centers in the country. Eman Ali Al Nuaimi, Director of Educational Services Centers in the Private Education Sector at MoEHE, led the workshop, providing detailed information on the requirements that educational service centers must meet to reserve halls in hotels for their events.

Representatives from hotels in Qatar attended the workshop and were given a comprehensive presentation on the procedures that educational service centers must follow to book hotel halls for their events. The key condition highlighted during the workshop was the need for institutions to obtain prior approval from MoEHE and present a valid educational license along with their application for event and conference reservations. Mohamed Al Ansari, Director of the Tourism Licensing Department at Qatar Tourism, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration between Qatar Tourism and MoEHE, emphasizing the importance of clarifying procedures and protocols for reserving hotel halls by educational service centers.

Al Ansari also stressed Qatar Tourism’s commitment to upholding high-quality standards in the hospitality industry and improving service excellence. He highlighted the organization’s goal of safeguarding the interests of accredited companies in the tourism sector and enhancing the overall reputation of the hospitality industry through ongoing collaboration with stakeholders in the country. Eman Ali Al Nuaimi emphasized that ensuring the quality of services provided by training centers is a top priority for the Educational Services Centers Management, as it aligns with the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The workshop aimed to create an attractive and stimulating environment for learning, encouraging investors to contribute to structured and consistent learning experiences in Qatar. By working closely with educational service centers and other partners in the country, Qatar Tourism seeks to enhance the efficiency and transparency of tourism-related services, ultimately advancing the hospitality sector and promoting the country as a destination for high-quality educational events. In conclusion, the workshop represents a step towards achieving the goals outlined in Qatar’s National Vision 2030 and strengthening the partnership between Qatar Tourism and MoEHE in support of the country’s educational and tourism sectors.
