Anya Taylor-Joy to Feature in Netflix’s Adaptation of ‘How to Kill Your Family’ – News

Anya Taylor-Joy is set to star in a new Netflix series adaptation of Bella Mackie’s bestselling novel, How to Kill Your Family. The actress will play the lead role of Grace Bernard, a character motivated by revenge. The series will consist of eight episodes and will be produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd., known for their work on Killing Eve. Bella Mackie, the author of How to Kill Your Family, is also a co-executive producer for the series.

The story follows Grace Bernard, the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy man who abandoned her and her mother. Seeking vengeance, Grace sets out to eliminate every member of her father’s family, saving him for last. Anya Taylor-Joy, known for her roles in Furiosa: A Mad Max Story, The Menu, and Last Night in Soho, expressed her excitement for the project. Taylor-Joy will also act as an executive producer through her company, LadyKiller.
