Anti-Narcotics Directorate Confiscates more than 2 Kilograms of Drugs, Detains Several Suspects

The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Evidence in Bahrain recently made a significant breakthrough in combating drug trafficking. Several individuals of different nationalities were apprehended in separate incidents, with over 2 kilograms of narcotics valued at over BD 24,000 seized. The arrests were made following intelligence reports and thorough investigations that led to the identification of the suspects. Upon apprehension, the individuals were found in possession of the seized drugs and various currencies believed to be proceeds from illicit sales.

The General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Evidence Investigation has confirmed that the seized items have been documented and secured.
