The much-anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is set to take place on July 12, and the celebrations have already begun. The ‘mameru’ ceremony, a Gujarati wedding tradition where the maternal uncle of the bride visits with sweets and gifts, was attended by the Ambani family, including Mukesh and Nita Ambani, along with other relatives. The Ambani residence was beautifully adorned with flowers and lights, with a digital screen featuring caricatures of the couple. Anu Malik was among the guests spotted at the event, and Radhika looked stunning in a beautifully embroidered lehenga with traditional accessories.

The wedding is scheduled to take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, with a highlight being a chaat stall from Kashi Chaat Bhandaar in Varanasi. Nita Ambani visited Varanasi to invite the shop owner personally after sampling various chaats. As part of the wedding celebrations, the Ambanis organised a mass wedding for the underprivileged in Palghar. The meticulously planned wedding adheres to traditional Hindu Vedic customs, with the main ceremonies starting on Friday, July 12. The festivities will continue on Saturday and end with the wedding reception on Sunday.

Guests have been asked to dress in ‘Indian chic’ for the occasion, as Radhika Merchant, daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant, joins the Ambani family. Earlier pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar saw a star-studded guest list from the global elite. Business leaders, heads of state, and Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities, including Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Ivanka Trump, attended the event. Rihanna gave an electrifying performance, while illusionist David Blaine mesmerised guests with his magic. Bollywood stars and family members also joined in the sangeet performances, with Diljit Dosanjh making a special appearance.

Overall, the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is a grand affair that is set to be remembered for years to come. The lavish celebrations and star-studded guest list add to the glamour of the event. The meticulous planning and adherence to traditional customs showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Ambani family. As the wedding date approaches, excitement is building among guests and well-wishers. The union of two prominent industrialist families promises to be a joyous occasion filled with love, tradition, and opulence. The elaborate festivities and high-profile guests only add to the anticipation surrounding this extravagant event.
