Al Wasl Club is gearing up for the 2024-2025 UAE Pro League season with high hopes after winning their first league title in the professional era and their eighth overall last season. The team is now setting their sights on emulating the back-to-back championship success of Al Ain in the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons. Achieving this feat would solidify their position among the top clubs in the league and elevate their status in UAE football history.

Last season, Al Wasl celebrated a grand double by clinching the league title and defeating Al Nasr 4-0 in the President’s Cup final. This victory marked a significant milestone for the club and highlighted their potential for future success. As they prepare to kick off the new season, Al Wasl will face Kalba in an away game followed by a home match against Dibba Al-Hisn at Zabeel Stadium. The team is eager to start the season on a strong note and build momentum towards their championship goal.

The opening two matches of the new season will see Abu Dhabi giants Al Wahda taking on Ajman and Al Orooba facing off against Dubai club Al Nasr. Saturday’s lineup includes Bani Yas versus Al Jazira, Shabab Al Ahli against Al Bataeh, Al Ain playing Khor Fakkan, and Dibba Al-Hisn locking horns with Sharjah. The competition is expected to be fierce as teams vie for early victories and establish their position in the league standings.

The UAE Pro League has officially opened ticket sales for the new season, allowing fans to secure their seats for upcoming matches. Tickets can be purchased online through the UAE Pro League’s website and the “Platinum List” platform, ensuring a convenient and hassle-free booking process for supporters. Additionally, the league continues its commitment to inclusivity by offering free entry for women, the elderly, and children at all stadiums on match days, promoting accessibility and diversity within the football community.

As Al Wasl embark on their historic challenge in the new season, they carry the weight of expectations and the desire to replicate the success of their rivals. With a talented squad and a winning mindset, the team is poised to make a strong push for another championship title and cement their legacy in UAE football. Fans can look forward to an exciting season ahead, filled with thrilling matches, fierce competition, and memorable moments on the pitch.
