The 24th CISM World Military Equestrian Championship in show jumping will take place at Al Shaqab’s Longines Indoor Arena in Doha, Qatar from November 27 – 30. This championship brings together elite military equestrian athletes from 14 countries, promoting the motto of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), “Friendship Through Sport.”

Qatar, the host nation, will welcome riders from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Syria, Oman, and more. The championship serves not only as a platform for competition but also for cultural exchange and friendship among military athletes. It highlights Qatar’s commitment to international sports diplomacy and its dedication to excellence in equestrian sports.

Established in 1948 in Cannes, France, CISM has grown into a global organization with 141 member nations, including Qatar which joined in 1974. The organization’s mission of promoting peace and friendship through sports is epitomized in the military equestrian disciplines, where athletes demonstrate remarkable skills and sportsmanship.

Al Shaqab’s state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to hosting high-level competitions make it the perfect venue for this prestigious event.
