In a training session ahead of the highly-anticipated Amir Cup quarter-final, Al Duhail players geared up for a tough battle against Al Arabi. Meanwhile, Al Sadd and Al Wakrah were also preparing to face off in what promised to be an intense match. Al Sadd was seeking redemption after Al Wakrah ended their hopes of a treble by defeating them in the Qatar Cup semi-final earlier in the month. Coach Wesam Rizk expressed confidence in his team’s abilities and motivation to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

Despite clinching the ESL title, Al Sadd faced a challenging season finale as they aimed to bounce back from their loss to Al Wakrah in the Qatar Cup. With a record 19th title in sight, the team was focused on delivering a solid performance in the quarter-final match. Coach Rizk highlighted the tough task ahead, acknowledging the exceptional form of both sides and anticipating a thrilling contest. The Amir Cup quarter-final was poised to be a showdown between two outstanding teams determined to give their best on the field.

On the other hand, Al Wakrah coach Ali Rahma Al Marri emphasized his team’s commitment to maintaining their winning streak. After a hard-fought victory over Muaither in the previous round, Al Wakrah was prepared for a tough challenge against Al Sadd. Coach Al Marri acknowledged the importance of giving their all in the upcoming match and recognized the need for a top-notch performance to secure a win. Al Wakrah’s strategy was geared towards delivering their best performance and securing a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.

In another quarter-final showdown, defending champions Al Arabi faced off against Al Duhail in a bid to retain their title. Both teams advanced to the quarter-finals with narrow victories in the previous round, setting the stage for an exciting clash at Al Janoub Stadium. Al Arabi coach Younes Ali emphasized the need for an improved performance against Al Duhail, highlighting the competitive nature of the match. The team aimed to showcase their best abilities and secure a victory to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Christophe Galtier, coach of Al Duhail, expressed confidence in his team’s capabilities and determination to achieve a positive result against Al Arabi. Despite finishing one place behind Al Arabi in the ESL, Galtier believed in his team’s potential to deliver a strong performance. As the team set their sights on reaching the semi-finals, Galtier emphasized the need for a collective effort and high-level performance from the entire team. With the quarter-final match posing a tough challenge, Al Duhail was prepared to give their all on the field to secure a spot in the next stage of the competition.

In conclusion, the stage was set for an exciting series of quarter-final matches in the Amir Cup, with Al Duhail, Al Arabi, Al Sadd, and Al Wakrah gearing up for intense showdowns. Coaches and players alike were focused on delivering their best performances and securing victories to advance in the tournament. The quarter-finals promised thrilling contests and fierce competition as teams battled it out on the field for a chance to reach the semi-finals and edge closer to the coveted title.
