Saudi Arabia’s Doyof Al-Rahman Program has big plans for the future, aiming to host 15 million pilgrims and develop 15 Islamic and cultural sites by the year 2025. This ambitious initiative will focus on expanding infrastructure in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, as well as on digitizing and enhancing services for pilgrims to ensure the highest standards of quality. The annual report for the year 2023 outlines the program’s goal of developing 40 sites by 2030, turning the Kingdom into a gateway for rich cultural and spiritual experiences.

The program’s efforts are geared towards meeting the needs of the guests of the Holy Kaaba, providing a seamless pilgrimage journey and leveraging the latest technologies to achieve this. With a future vision of hosting 30 million pilgrims by 2030, the program aims to streamline procedures for performing Umrah and offer innovative solutions to accommodate the growing numbers of pilgrims. Furthermore, the goal is to achieve a satisfaction rate of up to 85 percent for services by 2025, with a target of 90 percent by 2030, by delivering world-class services and ensuring a comfortable travel experience through the use of cutting-edge innovations.

Statistical data shows a significant growth rate in the number of pilgrims from countries like Turkiye, with Pakistan leading in terms of pilgrim numbers, followed by Egypt and Indonesia. Makkah ranks 20th on the global list of cities attracting the highest number of visitors. The Doyof Al Rahman Program, as part of the Saudi Vision 2030, collaborates with 70 entities in the public, private, and non-profit sectors to bring a new level of service to pilgrims. The program aims to achieve three strategic goals: to facilitate hosting more pilgrims, improve access to the Two Holy Mosques, and provide quality services that enhance the religious and cultural experience for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

In order to achieve its ambitious goals, the program will focus on renovating and developing Islamic and cultural historical sites in Makkah and Madinah. By investing in infrastructure and utilizing modern technologies, the program aims to provide a smooth and comfortable experience for pilgrims, ensuring their needs are met throughout their pilgrimage journey. Efforts are being made to streamline processes and implement innovative solutions to accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims, making it easier for individuals to perform their religious rituals with ease and comfort.

With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, the program aims to continuously improve its services to meet the evolving needs of pilgrims. By setting high standards for service quality and leveraging the latest innovations, the program seeks to enhance the overall experience for visitors to the holy cities. The ultimate goal is to create a seamless and enjoyable pilgrimage journey for all guests of the Holy Kaaba, making the Kingdom a preferred destination for those seeking rich cultural and spiritual experiences.

In conclusion, the Doyof Al-Rahman Program’s comprehensive approach to hosting pilgrims and developing cultural sites demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing the Hajj and Umrah experience for visitors. By focusing on infrastructure development, digital innovation, and service quality, the program aims to attract millions of pilgrims and provide them with a memorable and fulfilling journey. Through collaboration with various sectors and a clear vision for the future, the program is poised to make a significant impact on the pilgrimage industry and position the Kingdom as a leading destination for religious and cultural tourism.
