Al Markhiya Gallery in Doha is teaming up with the Qatar Red Crescent Society to host a fine arts exhibition in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The exhibition will feature the works of 54 artists from Qatar, Palestine, and other Arab countries, all of whom are drawing inspiration from the Palestinian cause, the resilience of Gaza, and the resistance of its people against aggression, destruction, and displacement. The event is set to take place on September 17 at the Fire Station Artist in Residence.

Anas Kutit, the artistic coordinator at Al Markhiya Gallery, emphasized that the exhibition is part of a larger effort to support the Palestinian cause. He described it as an initiative that aims to bring together Arab talents and channel their creativity towards serving this central Arab issue. Kutit also mentioned that a portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will be dedicated to supporting the people of Gaza. He expressed gratitude for the collaboration with QRCS and praised the efforts of both the organization and the participating artists in organizing the event.

The artists taking part in the exhibition will showcase a variety of works, including drawings, paintings, installation art, and sculptures. Each piece of art will reflect the artists’ deep connection to the Palestinian cause and their solidarity with the people of Gaza. By joining forces, these organizations are able to amplify their impact and reach a wider audience, ultimately providing more support to those affected by conflict and displacement. Through events like this exhibition, they are able to connect people from different backgrounds and countries, fostering a sense of global solidarity and empathy.
