The draw for the 2024 IHF Men’s Super Globe, the Handball Club World Championship, was recently held, placing Saudi Arabia’s Al-Khaleej in Group C alongside Germany’s SC Magdeburg and the USA’s California Eagles. The tournament is set to take place from September 27 to October 3 at the indoor hall of the Egypt International Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital, with a total of nine clubs participating in the championship.

In Group A, Hungary’s Veszprém, Egypt’s Zamalek, and Brazil’s Taubaté will battle it out for a spot in the knockout stages. Group B includes Spain’s Barcelona, Egypt’s Al Ahly, and Australia’s University of Sydney, making for some exciting matches and fierce competition. Al-Khaleej, representing Saudi Arabia, will have a tough challenge ahead of them in Group C but will be looking to make their mark on the global handball stage.

The draw ceremony took place in New Alamein City, Egypt, setting the stage for an action-packed tournament that promises to showcase some of the best handball talent from around the world. With teams from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas competing, fans can expect to see a diverse range of playing styles and strategies on display. The competition is sure to be fierce as each club vies for the coveted title of Handball Club World Champion.
