Al Khaleej clinch first victory, Al Riyadh shock Al Qadsiah

Al Hilal continued their impressive form with a 2-0 victory over Abha, extending their lead at the top of the table to five points.Brazilian forward Matheus Pereira opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a close-range finish after Abha failed to clear a corner. Al Hilal doubled their lead in the 61st minute through Saleem Al Dosari’s header from a corner, sealing the victory for the defending champions.Abha struggled to create clear-cut chances throughout the game, with their best opportunity coming from a long-range effort by Khalid Al Ghanim that forced a save from Gustavo Albuquerque.Al Hilal now have 18 points from seven matches, while Abha remain in eighth place with seven points.

Al Nassr maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 win over Al Wehda, courtesy of a goal from Moroccan forward Youssef El Jebli.Mohammed Al Sahlawi came close to breaking the deadlock in the first half with a header that hit the crossbar, but El Jebli was able to score the winner in the 72nd minute with a pinpoint finish from outside the box.Al Wehda pushed for an equalizer in the closing stages, but Al Nassr held on to secure the victory and move up to second in the table with 16 points. Meanwhile, Al Wehda dropped to seventh place with seven points.

In another match, Al Raed and Al Ittihad played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at King Abdullah Sports City, with both teams sharing the points in a highly entertaining encounter.Al Raed took the lead in the 24th minute through Firas Al Birakan, but Al Ittihad responded with two goals before halftime courtesy of Romarinho and Sultan Al Ghanam. Al Raed fought back and equalized in the second half through Abderazzak Hamdallah, only for Abdulmohsen Al Qahtani to restore Al Ittihad’s lead with a penalty.However, Al Raed managed to salvage a point thanks to Abdulmajeed Al Swat’s late goal, ensuring the match ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Overall, the Roshn Saudi League continues to produce exciting matches and unexpected results, with Al Khaleej, Al Riyadh, and Damac all picking up important wins in the latest round of fixtures. Al Hilal’s dominant display against Abha solidified their position at the top of the table, while Al Nassr’s narrow victory over Al Wehda kept them in contention for the title race. With several teams still in the mix, the race for the championship promises to be closely contested as the season progresses.
